i want to be very upfront with you.
there are loads of technical workshops, resources & mentoring options that will teach you how to get started and plant your business ‘trees’. while those are wonderful and are an important part of the process – this isn’t what fly is about.
i am careful to even put fly into a category of ‘workshop’ as to me it is an internal journey. a path you choose to take to better the artist you truly are. if fly isn’t for you, i would be more than happy to suggest some amazing workshops that will get you started in the right direction!
what you can expect.
the fly guide is a to-at-your-own-pace guide that allows you to work in any time frame, though past songbirds typically fly in about 6 weeks.
you’re not alone and will be flying along side other artists who are in a similar place as you. a bi-monthly newsletter will include ways to come together and in turn craft some amazing friendships. in addition i’m excited to invite you to the songbird-only (private) facebook group. it offers a place to connect with those who have flown or are currently working towards that – a safe & friendly environment. this road you travel will bind you & your new songbird friends in ways you can’t begin to imagine.
the process of doing fly on your own time was crafted because in no way is flight to be rushed. it is to be absorbed and taken in. fly was written from one busy & hardworking artist to another, and my hope is regardless of your schedule you will be able to gain as much inspiration and encouragement as i intended for you to.
the fly guide is divided into five sections: a pre-flight project & itinerary – and then four phases which include intro to self, your photography, healing & flying free. each phase involves prompts and projects that are geared to get your creative mind moving, your artist heart stirring, and your heart healing.
though i give some insight as to how long to work through each phase, remember that this is your own unique journey. take it as you’re able. you will then be able to expose your true self and begin this amazing discovery of your soul.
